Economics The automated production for standardized components helps the low labor cost, the easy installation of light weight structure, and the shortened period of construction for overall low manufacturing and installation cost. Especially, considering the unique semi-permanent duration period of aluminum, it is an economic material compared to any other material.
Maintenance, Management and Repair Aluminum reacts with oxygen in the air to form thin dense oxide film on the surface and prevents the progress of corrosion, so that it is rarely required of the cost for maintenance and management. The product has been standardized for easy disassembly, assembly and light weight for easy fast renovation and repair work.
Durability Aluminum rarely experiences the progress of corrosion. It holds excellent durability with its dead load as one third of general steel but similar yield strength.
Heat Absorbency Aluminum alloy is used for the cover material with very little heat absorbency and high reflection of solar heat to minimize the internal temperature of a pond in the sewage treatment plant where an optimum temperature is required. It has been used widely for sewage treatment plant or wastewater treatment plant in advanced countries. It is available to maintain the optimum condition for the growth of microorganism to process sewage.
Appropriateness for Sewage Treatment Plant - The material structure of aluminum alloy is highly appropriate for the cover of sewage treatment plant with its fair durability to maintain the initial strength.
- Its excellent durability is suitable for the cover to prevent the odor. Especially, it is strong in anti-corrosion against main odors of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia gas (HN3), and Mercaptan.

Heat Shielding Aluminum with its high heat shielding is able to minimize the change of inner temperature of sewage treatment plant by external temperature. The inside of tank is kept cool in summer and for a proper temperature in winter. Due to its low heat shielding, it is sensitive to external temperature and the temperature inside the tank of sewage treatment plant fluctuates, so that it requires a separate equipment to maintain the temperature. Very high heat absorbency may cause the suffocation of microorganism due to the increased inner temperature of aeration tank or sludge thickener It causes the greenhouse effect to raise the inner temperature rapidly. It requires a separate equipment to maintain the temperature.
